The Industrial Sewing Training Program is for three weeks Monday – Thursday. The class provides the skills to sew on industrial machines and secondly provides workforce readiness skills to help trainees to meet the expectations, demands, standards and requisites of manufacturing employers. It also teaches the trainees how to conduct themselves in interviews and on the job. The aim is to prepare them for a job which gives them the means to maintain employment so they can provide for themselves and their families leading to self-respect and dignity.
If a student needs English class, they come at 9:15AM to learn English related to sewing. In Week One, the class is from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM; Week Two- 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM; Week Three- 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
